Very nice beach, very clean. Great place for young children as well! Concessions are available, nice for an afternoon snack.
Southwick once a beautiful beach is not only flooded but a disgrace. Trash in water, trash on sand- no beach really. It's now disgusting and is a waste of your vacation.
The park is beautiful and on a windy day the waves can reach six or eight feet not very far out from the shore. There used to be a huge beach area, but this year it was completely flooded.
It was really nice...I love the beach every place(I lived in va beach for 5 years) I can and even though it's like combination state park and beach (which seems to be the way here in upstate ny) it has a beachier vibe...waves crashing, ppl surfing. I would go back again!
One of the most beautiful parks I have ever been to. Miles of beach and campsites right on the water. A blissful place to have a picnic or vacation.
